Taking a page out of Silvery's book of saving white space, I'll provide you the link on Beyblade right here so you can read it in your spare time. There's a fair bit to read through.

Beyblade was the first anime/manga I ever really got into, and I still love it to this day (though not as much as before).

Have you watched it?

Which seasons did you enjoy most?

Who are your favourite characters and bitbeasts?

What did you like about the show?

Discuss!

I'm knee deep in beyblade these days. I couldn't watch the series when it came out first in 2001, and then I wasn't too keen on it until last year, so now I've to depend on youtube to catch all the episodes.

Currently in season 2, but yeah I too found the first season more interesting than the second one.

My favorite characters? Kai topped the list in season one, but season two has a different outlook. Max and Salima in season 2 so far.

Seen the show a few times now, currently re-watching it with my daughter

I loved the first season and the last half of g-rev, I feel like they ended it too soonn and we should've gotten another season

I love Kai (who doesn't) along with Tyson. He kinda broke me out of depression. I Love Dragoon and Dranzer the most - that match with Kai and Tyson in g-rev was just amazing!

I think Beyblade had some really good villians, Boris, for example was just an intelligent bad guy.

I think we should've had one Kai shirtless scene.

I also think we needed a spin off series with the Blizkreig Boyz. Could've definately used more Tala and Bryan.

The first time I watched Beyblade, I remember I was a kid. That was probably a 30s line episode of season 1. I was left with a really bad impression of Kai and I didn't fancy Tyson either, because of his (in)famous eating manners. The series was labelled as uninteresting by me, because the 7 year old me couldn't make any head or tail of exclusive looking spinning tops. Must've stumbled on it while doing rounds between Tom and Jerry and Doreamon.

I rediscovered beyblade years laters, in class 9 and now... Let's just say I love it.

I didn't reach the third season yet. Stuck at episode 24, season 2. This season... well Tyson sucks so far. He's becoming more like some overconfident nitwit. As for Kai, looks like he's lost his bad boy charm a bit. He was better as the 'don't care, get lost' typos. Kai isn't Kai with out all that ice. Ray and Max- Ah  they're only ones who seem nearly likable in the main team. Kenny isn't being anything good too. Hilary and  Salima, probably they're the only  characters who didn't get smirk from me. Hilary although comes up behind Salima still I like them both , sensitive young ladies.

P.S  - This is just what the season looks as far as episode 24.

I actually just started watching Beyblade again. I've got seasons 1 and 2 but still have to get 3. Good thing season 3 is on youtube!

But I really love Tyson's voice actor! He's just so... natural for the part. Brooklyn's voice actor does a great job too (can't believe it's the same guy who does Ginka(?)) in Metal Fight.

What I love about this show is the lessons that can be learned. It's really all about hard work, determination and friendship, and I think that's a great message.

I love Tyson. He's my favourite character (for mains anyway), and I feel he has the best growth overall, and the most interesting character arc.

Yes, I've watched it.

I love the first season; it was very very amazing!

Well, my favorite character is Max Tate (because all the characters had single or multiple bad qualities. Kai's excessively cold and anti-social. I don't love Ray's dress-up and hairstyle (It's funny), And Tyson....he's nothing but a glutton. Kenny is smart, but spectacles and hairs cover his eyes.)

And as for bit-beasts....I love drigger...it's so cool!

I like the teamwork, value of friendship which are shown in the show.

No, you're misunderstanding....I'm not a Tyson fan, I like him....but not his fan. If you want to call me fan, I'm a fan of Max Tate (He's so cute and adorable) :3

And as for pairings: My favorite pair is RayXMariah (reminds me of endless love, pure love and true love)

KaiXHilary also one of my favorite pair :)

Ah, I see!

My favourite pairings are as follows:

Tyson/Hilary - Hilary wasn't in the manga, but I like to think she's Tyson's eventual wife. She's always there for him, and seems to genuinely care about him the most. I recall in an early episode of V-Force when Hilary and Kenny were captured, Hilary said, 'Maybe he does like me after all?' Hilary and Tyson are like the couple who are meant to be but are too proud to ever admit that. I'd say the feelings are stronger on Hilary's side since Tyson is more concerned with blading and all, but after that life, I'd say it's possible.

Johnny/Mariam - This actually came to me during V-Force. The Saint Shields knew of the Majestics (the snobby team I think Mariam called them) so it'd be funny to toy around with this shipping. Mariam would be a real challenge for Johnny, and Johnny would have a tough time dealing with Mariam. He's probably used to girls like Rosette and Bianca hanging around that being confronted by a blading girl would be quite intriguing for him.

Robert/Julia - The odd shippings continue! Robert's a smart guy. He's noble, very classy, and also very polite. He's probably dull, but he does attend parties (he did attend that VIP party on the cruiser ship deck after all) so I think he wouldn't mind a bit of socializing. Julia's independent, fierce and headstrong, and I think she could liven up Robbie's life a little, give him something to think about.

Mystel/Mariah - This is my OTP and I fought for this pairing way back in 2006 when I first joined the fandom. Rei and Mariah have that whole childhood sweethearts thing going on, but I think Mariah lost a bit of interest in Rei in season 3. I think these two would have a fascinating relationship - he's a mystery, and she'd have a blast trying to work him out.

Brooklyn/Mariam - I recently came to worship this pairing. If anyone could tolerate Brooklyn's violent mood swings, it would be Mariam (though Julia could probably do it too). He's sarcastic and smug, and so is she. Both of them have this whole, 'I'm tougher than I look' thing going on. He could amuse her for hours.

Michael/Emily - I can't see either of them with anyone else. I still love their little argument back in season one. Emily probably enjoys getting a rise out of him. He's lots of fun. She isn't. They balance each other out! Not to mention they're always together in season 3.

Rei/Salima - Rei seemed to genuinely be concerned about her in V-Force. He enjoyed being in her company, and wanted to be friends with her. She seemed to really like him too turning to him for help.

Pairings I Don't Mind:

Max/Emily - I can't see this one lasting too long, but they balance each other out well too. They'd be together for awhile then Emily would cheat on Max with Michael.

Bryan/Mariam - This one is interesting. Two dominant personalities.

Mystel/Ming Ming - This would be more of a one night stand sort of thing. They'd just be a 'friends with benefits' partnership.

Brooklyn/Mathilda - I used to love this pairing to death, but then I got hooked on Brooklyn/Mariam

Oliver/Mathilda - This would just be too adorable.

I wrote that one as well in the same story too, ha ha. It was one of those complex highschool stories. I still have the story if you're interested in reading it (it was never finished).

Rei and Mariah were together then Salima weaseled her way into Rei's life. Rei got bored with Mariah and turned to Salima. Mariah ended up heartbroken.
