Lady Mechanika
I'm on a bit of a historical fiction kick at the moment. Namely the wars of the roses, and the Plantagenets. I've just finished The Kings Curse by Phillipa Gregory. The last book in her cousins war series about the Countess of Salisbury, Lady Margaret Pole. Now I've moved to The Sunne in Splendour by Sharon Penman which is about Richard III from his birth to death at the battle of Bosworth Field. Quote Link to comment

Adelina Amouteru
'Veronica decides to die.' - Paul Ceolho. If you're looking for something cheerful to read, better not get this. It's bit too philosophical if you ask me, but then again different people , different choices. Quote Link to comment
Adelina Amouteru
I better change my opinion about this book - 'Veronica decides to die.'If you don't have any problem with a wee bit deep things then surely get this book. Wonderful work by Ceolho. I shouldn't have judged it so early. The best thing about the book is that although it discusses depressing topics, it won't leave you feeling depressed. Lady Mechanika
From Hell by Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell. Dark, sinister graphic novel with lots of conspiracy, sex and murder. Just be sure to skip the Johnny Depp film adaptation. It was so dire that Alan Moore now refuses to allow adaptations of his work to be made. (Unless, you really want to look at Johnny Depp in period costume). Quote Link to comment
Adelina Amouteru
Princess Dairies. - Meg Cabot. A normal, teen life novel, with a dose of Americano in it. A good choice for some light reading. At least it has got very little to do the title. Quote Link to comment

Adelina Amouteru
Finished the 'Princess Diaries' series. Opposed to what I first thought, it's not another silly high school- teen story. It teaches you things, in its own conflicted way. I might try 'All American girl'. Another Meg Cabot. Currently reading ' A walk to Remember '. Not because I thought it'd be a good time for reading romance, but because that was the only unread book in my Acrobat reader. Quote Link to comment
Skarrow
Looks like it's time to reread 'Kidnapped' by R. L. Stevenson Quote Link to comment
