I'm quite flattered, and I also feel a little sad that I haven't been all too active on this board for quite some time now. But, that's just life I guess. Got waaaaaaaaaaay too busy with stuff here in uni. I want to play CAH with you all lol. Once my midterms are over.

But I do remember well the time I spent on this board in the first year of me joining, and how I enjoyed it.

 Whole lot less hectic now, but it's also a whole lot nicer and more peaceful now... Unfortunately I'm pretty dam busy nowadays, but I still keep a tab open to come on and check every now and then... That's right, this ol' pirate   is still watching from the shadows... 

 

... Fuckin hell, I'm basically that old veteran sitting in the porch watching all the kids play... I'm only 19 dammit XD

I don't think they're in the forums or have been for a while, but I still remember CiS with Special Cryagonal, the first BIG RP I did with everyone... Or, one that lasted at least, all the lively chats we had with Lord Agravane even though she never came back, @Sakura Alexiacame around on one of the later forums as well and we've had some fun RPing n shit, along with @Nocturna and @Magnus Bane... Stickz, the bastard who tried to steal my pirate  title lol, though again idk if he's around anymore, and of course, *THE BANISHED ONES*... Yea, things where... Hectic for a while, but hey, I still remember a ton of fun times with everyone...  Unfortunately, yea, I haven't talked to a lot of ya in a while so it's hard to comment specifically, but I still do remember ya all, and the experiences we shared... Even if I'm... SURE I've forgotten a bunch of names lol, shout out to all you as well who where simply a victim of my awful memory (seriously, was there even a world over two years ago?) 

 

And of course, special mention to @Ace of Spies, I believe I've already made a post at some point, but ya know, nice to reiterate that this guy is just the best bro, he's helped me through a lot, like, really tough times, and quite frankly has been a bit of a lifeline at times, even if he IS a bit of a twat lol, I'm glad he's continued to put up with me being a pain in the ass all this time XD

Ah right, the actual reason for posting on this old thread we've all already posted on lol, about Aquila wondering about the meaning of friendship... Which sounds... WAY too corny XD

 

Still, interesting question, unfortunately I can't say it's a special power that let's you blast people to hell... I think that's just a disappointment. 

 

 Anyway, back to reality... Obviously it's up to whoever is interperating it, right? I'm sure there's some people out there who have ideas of what it means to be friends that I would completely disagree with (any small look into things like reddit's choosing beggars/ entitled parents makes that pretty apparent lol) but for me personally... I guess, just someone I can have fun around... 

 

 I mean, someone I trust enough to do so, if I walk into a new place, I'm ALWAYS quiet for the first few weeks - months, and I think that's rhe sign that I haven't really made friends yet. 

 

 And then after a while, once I've got to know people, I'm basically COMPLETELY different... The fact that I feel comfortable to be myself around them would be the sign that we're friends now, right? 

 

 I guess it comes down to the level of trust you have with someone, for me anyway... I guess that's especially important to me given how I've been burnt a few times before in my life by people I thought of as friends, so yea, being able to trust someone and feel comfortable acting naturally around them without reserving myself, that's when I would consider someone a friend.

You know who you are. I ain’t gonna name drop.

We have a decade long friendship. It has its shaky moments in the first couple of years but that’s what the best of friendships are (and often make the best relationships). You test each other. Have each other’s backs and all. The list goes on.

Wild to think we’re still here older and a little more wiser and haven’t forgotten the good old days. You still haven’t failed to amuse me and I don’t see you letting me down. Last few months have certainly given me a new perspective and a lot of reflection time about people I like and don’t like and you obviously don’t fall into the latter. Anyway. I’ll cut it short here but there’s certainly a lot more things to say.

If you do happen to read this…. 

I’m open to new experiences.
