Wondering what to post here? Just random thoughts? Well, I just messaged to a venue in Oulu (my nearest bigger city) and asked them to book some prog metal bands I love that will be touring later this year or early next year. Feel accomplished, at least I did something to get to see my favourite bands!!

I hope I will be able to see at least a glimpse of Amsterdam, other than the airport. It seems unlikely though, I am arriving on Tuesday evening and leaving on the next Tuesday morning, on my Tilburg trip. But if it would be possible to see the city just a little bit... It's up to @Fwielwho is my driver there. <3

Yes, as you may have read already, I don't need to take a train there in the NL. Or did you mean from Finland? Yes, that would be too difficult... I would also need to take a ship at some point, because there is no direct land connection from Finland to the NL. (Now that Russia is closed.) But I have already got the plane tickets under control.

I wish you could be there too! <3 I know there is going to be lots of ayreonaut friends. And I already know it will feel like home. I just have all this anxiety stuff, it's sometimes hard with it. I have tried not to stress too much about anything yet. And yes, please write more about your trips!! When you can!!

So it seems I am going to Tilburg to see Ayreon for the first time this September, but I'm horrified!! I haven't been in a plane since 2005 or so, and I haven't been abroad since the last century!! I'm of course excited, but as I suffer from anxiety, I can't help thinking of everything that can still go wrong and I can't make it... Anyone else from this forum going there? And how to stop stressing so much?

It's June and the weather feels like November here in Finland... I don't really mind, I still prefer it compared to heat.

Oh boy I have been neglecting online things a lot. Mostly because sleeping and feeling lazy. The first months of they year depression and anxiety is at worst in February, and this February definitely isn't an exception. But hey, I'm here!

Christmas Eve is the main day of Christmas celebration here in Finland. My family has our own very traditional traditions. So I was doing that. And in the evening, spent some quiet time with myself. Which tv series or show are you watching at the moment? Or what did you last watch?

I'm interested in music. And also writing. Even though it's a bit private for me too at the moment.

I want to feel hopeful and optimistic about 2023. But I'm also scared of what it may bring. I try not to be scared. I try to embrace it as just another year and let it surprise me positively.

Sometimes I can't make time even for myself. That doesn't mean I'm a bad person or that I don't care. I care too much about everything. That's exactly why I need time for myself sometimes.

Just any random thought of the day? Well... I think sometimes I totally need to let my head off and give time for myself completely. I spend too much time online, and am kind of dependent in online. I hope to really get my mind off the online for a while one of these days... go somewhere, do something, that doesn't involve online.
